NLI and the 1Mint rewards shop
On December 8, 2025, in Toronto, NLI Solutions and One Mint Club said they are working together. One Mint Club is the company behind 1Mint. The headline used a lot of big words. The plan under it is a catalogue. People earn a thank you at local shops, and that thank you can become a real product, if the product is actually in stock.
Catalogues are an old idea
Stamp books in the last century could be traded for a toaster. Airlines kept the idea and called the stamps miles. Aeroplan is the Canadian version people already use, including a shop of things you can redeem for when you are not booking a seat. Grocers did it with PC Optimum. Makeup did it with Sephora Beauty Insider. A single cafe usually stopped at a punch card, because a cafe cannot run a warehouse. That gap is the whole announcement.
Who does what
NLI keeps a catalogue of real products and gets those products to people. They already do this for stores. A catalogue here means a list of stuff someone can redeem. Getting it to you means the item has to show up. 1Mint connects its rewards setup into that. A business can let people redeem for a real product, and the system can check that the item is in stock. A coupon is still a coupon. This is the other kind of thank you, the one you can hold.
Blayne Creed, who runs One Mint Club, talked about smaller shops getting that same kind of setup. The release is the place for his words exactly. It ran on CNW, with write-ups after it from DM Magazine and Arcstone Financial Pulse. What other sites wrote explains who each of those is for.
What you can see on the shop page today
On the customer side, the catalogue shows up as the shop. It is still coming soon. Names already listed there include Samsung, LG, Cuisinart, Bose, KitchenAid, and Frigidaire. When it opens, points from visits can go toward something bigger, or you can pay the normal way. There is no dollar rate on this page. How points add up explains why the wallet is the place that number should live.
You earn the points by going to local rooms, not by reading a release. Places and offers are that side. If you want a specific dinner while you wait for the shop, the reviews start at the food ranking. If you run a shop and you are deciding whether to be listed before the catalogue opens, should a local shop list on 1Mint is the piece, and the business door is partner.1mint.club.
If the whole rewards idea is still fuzzy, start with what a loyalty program is and come back. The announcement is a warehouse and a stock check. The program is still just a shop saying thanks when you return.
