Should a local shop list on 1Mint
If you run a restaurant, a cafe, or another local shop, the question is not whether you exist online. You already do. The question is which shelf a stranger checks before they walk in, and whether your offer is on that shelf. The Instagram post is the short version. This page is the same decision with the other shelves in the room.
Should a local shop list on 1Mint
Watch on InstagramThe shelves a shop is already on
A Google listing is the shelf people hit from the map. A review site is the shelf they hit when they want strangers to argue about the food. Instagram is the shelf for a photo that disappears in a day. A reservation product like OpenTable is the shelf for rooms that take bookings. None of those is a loyalty program. They tell someone you exist. They do not, by themselves, say thank you when that person comes back.
The restaurants on our reel show the spread. Copper Chimney has its own site and a phone number, because the room fills up. Butt Karahi has a site and a line. Lena's lists hours that matter, because the counter closes in the afternoon. Amaya needs a locations page, because it is a group. A shop with one room still needs one true address. The write-ups of those four are in the food ranking.
What listing on 1Mint is for
People on 1Mint are already trying to pick a place nearby. They are not a cold list of emails. A free membership means more of them can browse. You still write the offer. You still run the shop. Customers see that on places and on offers. The door for a business is partner.1mint.club.
A paper punch card is still the right tool for the regular who is already at the counter. Punch cards get lost is about the jacket problem, not about the idea being silly. A listing is for the person who has not walked in yet. Plenty of cafes keep the stamp and also put an offer where a new person can see it. Starbucks Rewards and Tims Rewards are what it looks like when a coffee chain moves the stamp card onto a phone. A single room does not need their machinery to copy the thank you.
The bigger thank you, later
Points a customer can spend on a real product are a different shelf again. That is the NLI partnership, and the shop still says coming soon. Names already on that page include Samsung, LG, KitchenAid, Bose, Cuisinart, and Frigidaire. Listing the shop is the piece you can do before that catalogue opens. The plain explanation of the thank you itself is what a loyalty program is.
